Mary R. Reynolds

Mary R. Reynolds, 81, of Johnstown, passed away February 22, 2026, at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 15, 1944, in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Beamer) Malloy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Albert R. Reynolds; sister, Patricia Flick; brother, Eddie Malloy; and son, Albert Reynolds Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Renee Staib (Tom) and Dr. Amy Reynolds (Bill); grandchildren Joseph, Nathan, and Michael Staib, and Carson, Ella, Daniel, and Abigail Brotz; and sisters Shirley Hitchcock (Ralph) and Jackie Toth. Mary was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and was instrumental in founding the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Conemaugh Hospital. She enjoyed reading, bingo, the Harmonie Singing Society, and trips to the casino, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Friends will be received Friday, February 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 28, at 11 a.m. at Visitation B.V.M. Church, Fr. John Slovikovski, officiating. Entombment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
