Mary Anne Mancos

Mary Anne Mancos, 75, died November 3, 2022 at Uptons Country Comfort. Born November 28, 1946. Daughter of Michael M. and Edith J. (Alwine) Lydic. Preceded in death by parents, step father Charles H. Lydic, aunts and uncles James, Irene, Betty and Glenn Alwine. Survived by aunt Mildred Miller (David); cousins Robert (Bonnie), Franklin (Cheryl), Deidra, Kenneth Miller, Suzanne (David Ealy), Jonathan, several other extended family members. She was a member of Albright United Methodist Church. She loved to cross stitch and vacation. She also had a great love for animals. Former employee of the Association for the Blind. The family would like to thank Missy Johnson and staff at Uptons Country Comfort for the care and love given to Mary Anne these past years and also to Advantage Hospice for their compassionate care of Mary Anne in her final days. A memorial service will be held November 6 at 1:00 P.M. at Church of Jesus Christ, 570 Buchannon Rd, Normalville, PA, Pastor Jim Upton. A committal service will be held November 12 at 2:00 P.M. at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Uptons Country Comfort or a local animal shelter. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
