KOVAL, Mary Ann, Age 90, died November 21, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Resident of Arbutus Park Retirement Community. She was born June 12, 1930 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Mary Winslow. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Robert James Koval, twin sister, Joanne, brothers Donald David and James Lynn Winslow. Survived by sons, Stephen Lynn (Marjorie), Phoenix, AZ and Lary Richard (Mary), Johnstown, PA. Survived by granddaughter, Christina Suzanne Jacobs (Jake), Warner Robins, GA, Zachary Aaron Koval, Millvale, PA, Benjamin James Koval, Meadville, PA, three great granddaughters, Jessica, Stephanie and Breanna and four great-great grandchildren. Mary Ann retired from service as a cafeteria manager with Nutrition, Inc. She worked at Cypress Avenue, Roxbury and East Side as well as overseeing the GJSD's summer feeding program. She was a long time member of Park Avenue UM church and was a current member of Grove Avenue UM Church. Mary Ann and her twin sister, Joanne, loved to spend time making and selling macramé and ceramics. She was also an avid baker and gardener. A special thanks to the loving employees of the Crossroads unit at Arbutus. Also want to recognize the tireless efforts of the employees of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center's DEM, 7 Ashman and 10 Ashman. Thank you for caring for our Mom. Due to the Covid-19, a private burial service will be held with immediate family. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, to make contributions to the Arbutus Park Retirement Benevolent fund. John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
