PAVLICK - Mary Grace Pavlick, 98, recently of Bridgeville, Pa., died September 29, 2025 at Vanadium Woods Village. Born June 10, 1927, in Johnstown, daughter of George A. and Cecilia (Malzi) Frick. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 66 years, William R. ("Bill") Pavlick, sisters Elizabeth ("Betty") Drugo and Dolores Barkley, and brothers Don, George, and Joseph. Survived by children William S. (Barbara), Charlottesville, Va.; David (Susy), Canton, Ohio; Lisa Dolak, Syracuse, N.Y.; and Daniel (Susan), Pittsburgh, Pa.; as well as grandchildren, Eric (Colleen) Pavlick; Brian Pavlick; Matt (Kate) Pavlick; Joseph (Kristina Scott) Pavlick; Kaitlin (Andrew) Johnston; Carly (Jonathon) Cope; Erica (Joseph) Ring; Lindsay Dolak; and Aaron, Alexa, Marija, and Garrett Pavlick. Mary Grace was also blessed with and delighted in her fifteen great-grandchildren, Taylor, Ryleigh, Jack, Sam, William, Luke, Michael, and Moses Pavlick; Evelyn, Isabelle, and Maren Johnston; Savannah and Connor Cope; and Sophia and Owen Ring. Mary Grace graduated from the former Johnstown Catholic High School in 1945. She and Bill were charter members of St. Andrew Catholic Church, and she served the Ferndale High School community as the secretary in the high school office for many years. She was an avid sports fan, closely following the athletic endeavors of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and cheering on her beloved Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. In retirement, she became an avid golfer, enjoying time with friends at Berkley Hills. Above all, she loved time with her family, whether at home, visiting them on the road, or enjoying their annual family vacations in Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach, N.C. She was so proud of her family and their accomplishments. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt to many nieces and nephews, and served God faithfully. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Johnstown PA, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, the Rev. Peter Crowe, celebrant. Entombment, Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bishop McCort High School, directed to the Bill and Mary Grace Pavlick Scholar-Athlete Scholarship.
