CHAMER- Mary E., 91, Johnstown. Passed away June 1, 2022. Born May 21, 1931 in Johnstown. Daughter of Thomas and Helen (Mitchell) Updyke. Preceded in death by parents, husband James Sr., son James Jr., son-in-law Jack Stephenson, brothers Thomas, John, William, and James, and sisters Helen Ashcom and Harriet Spencer. Survived by children, Virginia Stephenson of Johnstown, and Leo Chamer married to Cindy of Johnstown; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Chamer of Davidsville; grandchildren, Jeffrey Chamer (Sybil), James III Chamer (Kim), Jessica Kline (Tom), Jen Bell (J.R.), Josh Stephenson and Jessie Manor and family; great grandchildren, Jeffery Allan, Justin, Ethan, Gwen, Brennan, Paige and Sarah; sisters, Anna Hutchins and Catherine Sheldon; and best friend Mary Jane Cafeo.
