Marjorie G. Zupan, 102, Johnstown, died August 1, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 26, 1920, in Johnsonburg, daughter of Harvey and Julia (McManigle) Geer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John; and brother, Charles, and his wife Rachel. Survived by sons, John (Susan Danek); and Michael (Katheryn); grandchildren, Tyler (Liz), Mason, Matt, and Tori; and twin great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Amelia. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon and was secretary and president of the Genevans Group. She was a retired Home Economics school teacher from the former Garfield Junior High School. Graduate of The Pennsylvania State College, Class of 1942. Member of the Home Economics Sorority, Omicron Nu; member and president of Kappa Delta Sorority. Life member of the Penn State Alumni Association. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends received 5-7PM Friday, August 5 at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where funeral service will be held 10AM Saturday, August 6. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
