Miller - Marion E., 94, Johnstown, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 10, 2020, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with family around her. Born November 1, 1925, in Johnstown. Marion is preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 64 years, Robert C. Miller; daughter, Judith (Miller) Podplesky; parents, John and Clara Beatty; and eight siblings. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughters Carolyn (Miller) Schultz and Marilyn (Miller) Harrington (James). She is also survived by her grandchildren Melissa (Schultz) Lushko (Christopher), Allison (Schultz) Virgin (Rev. J.R.), Robert Harrington, and Rachael Harrington; as well as great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lily, Noelle, and Isabelle Lushko, and Elijah, Evelyn, and Madison Virgin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was a private duty LPN and worked at Memorial Medical Center prior to retirement. She was an active member at Memorial Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church. She most recently attended Faith Chapel. Marion, along with her husband, Robert, had a lifelong devotion to family, spending much time and energy over the years babysitting grandchildren and great-grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mema". She was an excellent seamstress, an expert pie-baker, and enjoyed cooking for her family. Marion was a practical joker. She loved all animals and enjoyed feeding wildlife. She lovingly cared for many pets over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society or Faith Chapel. Friends received Wednesday 3-7PM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30AM with Pastor Andrew Taylor officiating.
