Marie Fesko, 83, Johnstown, entered eternal life on January 3, 2022, at Kobacker House in Ohio. Born November 5, 1938, in Johnstown. Beloved daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Riek) Krise. Preceded in death by parents, and infant brother Joseph Jr. Survived by loving husband of 51 years, David Fesko; son, Greg (Jill); grandsons, Nathan and Lucas; sister, Ruth (Frank) Zack; nieces and nephews: Loraine (Bob) Wagner, Jim (Diane) Zack, John (Cynthia) Zack, Kathy (Tom) Ozog, Jenny (Mike) Blucas, Julie Korenoski, and Michael (Corrin) Fesko; great nieces and nephews: David (Jen and baby Ruthie), Laura (Jared), Jason, Lauren, Ryan, Ruby, Vayda, Edye, Joey, Danny, and Mikey. Marie was affectionately called "Aunt Red" by many of her nieces and nephews. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Nancy Fesko, Charlotte Fesko, Mary Ann (Joe) Workosky, Jimmy Fesko, Tommy Fesko, and Danny (Martha) Fesko. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Brownstown. She loved to bake bread and cakes, knitted many afghans, and traveling was her passion. Marie's greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons, nieces, and nephews. She was a secretary for Bethlehem Steel for over 20 years, and was also a secretary for Eber HVAC. Friends will be received Thursday, January 13, from 4-6 pm at the John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue. A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10 am at St. Michael Catholic Church in Brownstown with Father Mark Begley, celebrant. Entombment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests having a Catholic mass held in her memory.
