Margaret (Anderson) Herlinger

Margaret Herlinger, 96, Johnstown, died June 14, 2023 at Richland Woods. Born September 7, 1926 in Aliquippa, daughter of James C. and Hazel (Elsheimer) Anderson. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Dr. LTC Harry V. Herlinger, US Army Ret.; brother J. Carl Anderson; and sister, Naomi Ruth. Survived by daughter, Peggy Ann (Ira Clark), Everett; grandsons whom she loved dearly, Bryan Clark (Bre); and Kyle Clark; and great grandchildren, Oakley and Hudson Clark. Margaret was a member of Belmont UM Church. She was a retired school nurse from the Richland School District; and after retirement, she served as a volunteer for Windber Hospice. The family extends a heart-felt thank you to the staff of Richland Woods for the care and love given to Margaret during her stay there. By request, there will be no viewing. Private interment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. is serving the family.
