Glock - Margaret (Kohler) - Formerly of Westmont Borough, died at Columbia, Maryland on October 1, 2023. She was born on February 29, 1928, in Johnstown, daughter of Dr. Milton C. Kohler and Margaret (O'Neill) Kohler-Twiford. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Phil C. Twiford; husband, Earl F. Glock, Jr., who died on December 21, 2002; sister Elizabeth and her husband James Gamble IV; brothers, Milton and his wife, Frances (Ripka); William and his first wife, Joan (Smith); Joseph and his wife, Alma (Glock); and Frank; brothers-in-law Charles Glock and his wife Betty (Conrad), Edward Glock, and sister-law, Helen (Glock) Scali. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Marilyn (Rees) Higgins-Kohler and Sally (Voltz) Glock; daughter, Margretta and her husband, Richard Palya; son, Earl Ill and his wife, Jean (Newman); son, Karl (Fritz) and his wife, Laura (Feuka Stevens); Christine and her husband, Steve Wolcoski; daughter, Catherine and her husband, Ted Sintetos; Jeanette, and her husband, Dr. Phil Cinelli; daughter, Mary Rose and her partner, Jeffrey Jacoby. Also survived by grandchildren, Earl IV ("Judge") Glock and his wife Sophia (Wiedeman); Porter Glock and his wife, Alexa (McDonnell); Eliza (Glock)and her husband, Phil Gregory; Erin (Stevens) and her husband, Edward Upton IV; Jeffrey Wolcoski and his wife Ali (Hirsch), and Adam (A J) Wolcoski; Theresa (Sintetos) and her husband Mike Derrenberger; Mary (Sintetos) and her husband Andrew Jacobs; and Mark Sintetos; Anna (Cinelli) and her husband Mike Marzano, Joseph Cinelli and his wife Anh (Nugyen), Laura Cinelli, and Sara Cinelli. Also great-grandchildren, Judge and Josephine Glock; Harold and Cordelia Glock; Margo and Eleanor Gregory; Raleigh and Jake Upton; Nevin Hirsch and Anelia Wolcoski; Noah Jacobs; Michael (Tre) and Zoe Marzano. She, a life-time resident of Johnstown until she retired to Columbia, MD in 2007, graduated from the former Westmont-Upper Yoder High School (Class of 1945), The University of Pittsburgh and the former D. T. Watson School of Physical Therapy. While in Johnstown, she was a member of the Garden Club of Johnstown, Johnstown Area Genealogic Society, and Sunnehanna Country Club.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue, Johnstown, PA followed by Funeral Mass to be celebrated at the Church of Our Mother of Sorrows, Westmont at 11:30 a.m., and then burial at Grandview Cemetery.
