Margaret H. Brown, 84, Johnstown, died June 5, 2022 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born August 16, 1937 in Johnstown. Daughter of Leo and Cleo (Karcher) Hines. Preceded in death by parents, husband Gerald L. Brown, daughter Maria Margaret, Alexandra Maria "Sasha", brothers John and Owen, and step son Philip Edward. Survived by son Patrick (Jennifer Shull), step sons Richard (Christine), Jeffrey; son-in-law Kenneth Smith; grandchildren Daniel (Amy), Rebecca, Daisy, Noel, Lillian, Lyric and Clayton; she was also loved by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She loved to travel. She was an avid reader and bird watcher. She retired as a teacher from St. Benedict School. Friends will be received Friday from 11:00-1:00 at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Audubon Society or St. Benedict Church. Burial will be private at East Ridge Cemetery.
