Lois M. (Crissinger) Tomb

TOMB- Lois Maxine, 87, died peacefully May 20, 2025 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Lois was loving and devoted to family and many friends. Born in 1937 in Meyersdale, PA. She is preceded in death by husband, Dean Tomb, parents Howard and Minerva (Mazer) Crissinger, brother Harold, sister-in-law, Doris Adamson (Tomb), brother-in-law, John Adamson, sister-in-law, Elaine Tomb, and special friend Andy Ulatsky. She is survived by daughter, Deana Baron (Jack), grandson, Marc Baron, sister, Joyce Staub (Charles Martin), and sister-in-law, Twila Cahill. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lois was a graduate of Meyersdale High School and Conemaugh Nursing School. She worked at Conemaugh Medical Center for 50 years as a RN (Pediatrics and GYN) and as Assistant Nursing Director. Conemaugh was her second home and she was proud to be affiliated with the hospital. Lois had a deep faith in the Lord. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Sole Survivors, and several Retired Nurses groups. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-5 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Meyersdale.
