Lois Elaine (Price) Conner

CONNER- Lois Elaine, passed away December 11, 2023, at Forbes Regional Hospital. Born January 23, 1929, in Johnstown. Daughter of Charles E. and Anna (Condo) Price. Preceded in death by parents; husband James Paul; sisters Ruth Aiken, Marguerite Drechsel, Thelma Miller and brother Charles Price Jr., Survived by sons, Paul James (Linda); Jeffrey Scott; and Edward Lee (Cheryl); 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church since 1949. A 1946 graduate of Dale High School. Former secretary for H.J. Heinz Co. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross. Enjoyed having lunch with the lunch bunch. Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Witty and wise. A wordsmith. She loved scrabble, playing cards, baking, crocheting and traveling. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received Saturday from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at noon at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
