Linda Rose Saintz

Linda R. (Rubis) Saintz, 80, Johnstown, passed away in NC on October 19, 2023. Born Nov 13, 1942 in Johnstown. Daughter of Albert and Mary (Peterson) Rubis. Preceded in death by parents, grandson Shawn Saintz, sister Saundra Grech, and her dog companion Ms. Shirley. Survived by son, Gary Jr., Johnstown, daughter Kimberly, Raleigh NC (Michael), grandson George Jones and two great grandsons Griffin and Georgie Jones, and a niece and nephew. Retired from Penelec and Reliant Energy and office manager of American Dream Real Estate. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, walking, doing crafts including making wreaths, and loved spending time with her great grandsons. She was also a Den Mother for Boys Scouts. A special thank you for years of caring and compassion by Dr. Jean Spencer, Dr. Gerard Garguilo, Dr. Ibrahim Sbeitan, Dr. David Stefanik, Dr. Anureet Copeland, and the Promedica hospice care team in Raleigh NC. At the request of Linda, there will be no viewing or visitation. Private Service was held at Grandview by John Henderson Co. Funeral Home and Father William Rosenbaum.
