Lenora S. (Shaffer) Streilein

Lenora S. Streilein, 97, Duncansville, formerly of Johnstown, died December 22, 2024 at Celebration Villa of Altoona. Born December 26, 1926in Johnstown, daughter of Kenneth and Sophie (Wissinger) Shaffer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Herman Streilein, Sr.; brother, Delbert; sisters, Juanita Lehman, and Jane Hagins; and daughter-in-law, Mona Streilein. Survived by children, Ruth (Kim Thich); Herman, Jr. (Jeannie Rodbell); Kenneth; Gary (Paula Robert); and Margaret (Legrand Evans); 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir. Lenora enjoyed playing pinochle, putting jigsaw puzzles together, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Friends received Friday 11AM until the time of service at 1PM at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
