Lawrence W. Lugar

Lawrence W. Lugar, 88, Johnstown, died July 1, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 21, 1937 in Johnstown, son of George M. and Anna (Shustrick) Lugar. Preceded in death by parents; brother George; and sister-in-law Loretta Lugar. Survived by wife, Carol Ann (Huntzinger); children, Christine (Fred Fyock); Catherine (Doug Morgan); George (Jessica Michalczyk); and Crystal (Robb Miller); grandchildren, Thomas Philibin, Sarah Fyock, Daniel Morgan, David Morgan, Matelyn Lugar, and Nathan Lugar; and brother James; nephew James Lugar and his son, Dylan. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He was a retired electrician from Bethlehem Steel and Johnstown Wire Technologies. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. Funeral service will be private. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the Lugar family.
