Lawrence G. Kimmel, Jr.

Lawrence G. Kimmel, Jr., 70, Johnstown, died peacefully November 6, 2024, at Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 5, 1954, in Altoona, son of Lawrence G. Sr. and Nellie (Treese) Kimmel. Preceded in death by parents and in-laws, Kenneth E. and Kathryn J. (Petrosky) Green. Survived by loving wife of 49 years Susan (Green); son Chad; siblings Pamela Kimmel and Bruce Kimmel; niece Margaret Kimmel. Larry loved going to tractor pulls with his son. He was an avid Tomahawks fan and enjoyed going to games. His past time was spent tinkering in the garage. He worked for Birk Transfer for 47 years before retiring. At Larry's request, there will be no viewing or service. Henderson Funeral Home East Hills is serving the family.
