Katheleen (Wertz) Mikesic

Katheleen Ann Mikesic, 83, passed away December 1, 2025, at home. Born in Johnstown October 12, 1942, to the late Lloyd Ambrose and Rae Kathleen (Constable) Wertz. Preceded in death by son George Edward Mikesic III, twin great grandchildren Dominic and Leonardo Lorenzo; grandparents Ambrose and Cora (Howsare) Wertz, Willard G and Bessie (Gray); step-grandmother Pauline (Ickes) Constable. Survived by husband George E. Mikesic, married May 12, 1962; sons Steven George (Peggy), Richard John (Tanya); grandchildren Stephane Rose Roberts (Korey), Samantha Rose Lorenzo fiancé Michael Novak, Jessica Katheleen, Jenna Marie, Tara Christine, Hanna Nichole Mikesic; great grandchildren Carter James and Cameron Richard Penn, Lucas Scott and Leia Rose Roberts; sister of Barbara J. Coyle Higginbotham (James) and Michael W. Wertz (Karen); brother-in-law Edwin Mikesic; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, best friends Nova Trerorrov, Agnes Eppolitto, Nancy Bizjak and Cookie Hornick. by request, there will be no public viewing. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 11AM at Visitation of the BVM Catholic Church. Interment Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude' Hospital.
