Kate Blake

Kate Blake, (aka Kathleen M. Sewalk), 71, Johnstown, died October 3, 2023 at home. Born April 10, 1952 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Chester H. and Stella (Francek) Sewalk. Survived by brother, Chester R. Sewalk (Mary Jane); companion, Donald Davis; step-daughters, and several nieces and nephews. Kate was a Lover of God. She was an accomplished author and healer. She was the owner/operator of Tunnel Press, Ltd. and avid photographer. Kate was a retired executive from MetLife. By request, there will be no public viewing. A funeral mass will be held 10AM Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal, St. Joseph Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St.
