MAHON- Karen L., 62, Johnstown. She peacefully went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2026. Born February 29, 1964 in Shirley, MA. Daughter of the late Richard and Phyllis Ann (Parkinson) Thompson. Survived by husband of 11 years, Pastor Charles "Chuck"; stepson, Chuck Mahon of Johnstown; sister, Debra Wilson (Brian) of Summerhill; niece, Elizabeth Brand (Ken); and nephew, Michael Wilson (Lindsey). Member of Hooversville Church of the Brethren. A Ferndale Area High School graduate, Class of 1982. Retired from Boscov's as a Department Manager. Karen was a kind and friendly person, who never missed a chance to spend time and chat with friends. She enjoyed crafting, dearly loved animals and never missed an opportunity to attend an 80's band concert. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at noon. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
