Judy (Rosenberger) Benford, 77, passed away February 7, 2025, at Homewood, Martinsburg, PA. Born April 2, 1947, in Johnstown. Daughter of Dorothy Rosenberger and Robert Smith. Preceded in death by parents and husband Barry Benford. Survived by son Norman Benford and partner Erica Sommer, Altoona, PA; daughter Megan Parker, husband Aaron Parker, and granddaughter Cassidy Parker of Martinsburg, WV; and brother Robert Smith and wife Patricia of Troy, AL. Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grammy whose greatest happiness came from spending time with family and friends. She particularly enjoyed celebrating holidays and taking family vacations. She earned a bachelor's degree from IUP and spent many years raising her family before returning to work and ultimately retiring from the Ebensburg Center. In retirement, she and Barry traveled extensively and volunteered for Visitation Church and Friends of the Library. Friends received 3-6 pm Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where Celebration of life will be held 11 am Saturday, followed by committal at Grandview Cemetery.
