Joy (Bouch) Hewitt

HEWITT- Joy, 81, of Gibsonia formerly of Upper Yoder Twp. Passed away on September 4, 2021. Born June 29, 1940 in Johnstown. Daughter of Horace and Kathryn (White) Bouch. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jay W., who was her high school sweetheart and married in June of 1961, and half sister Mary Lou Livingston. Survived by children, Daneen Jill married to Craig Osten of Millburn, NJ, Raymond Jay of Charleston, S.C, and Daniel married to Jennifer (Gofton) of Sewickley; grandchildren, Lindsay Osten, and Sydney and Owen Hewitt; and brothers, Raymond married to Kathleen (Ranker) of TN and Daniel married to Janet (Duza) of PA. Joy retired from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse. In her later years, she discovered that she enjoyed painting and art. She expressed this hidden talent through painting wildlife and flowers. A funeral service will be held at 1:30, Tuesday at John Henderson Co.
