Joseph Eugene Scaife

Joseph E. Scaife, 82, Johnstown, died July 25, 2026, at home. Born July 25, 1944, in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of James Scaife and Effie Mae (Walters) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, brothers James Scaife, Morgan "Tone" Roush; sisters Darlene Miller and Patricia Miller. Survived by loving wife, Sandra (Gorchesky) Scaife; children Michelle and Joseph; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews; sister Laura Miller Steen. Joe was a talented carpenter and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening and took pride in maintaining his home. He was proud of his garden. Joe loved country western music and attire. He had a great love for his family. At his request, there will be no public services. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
