John A. Paulovich

John A. Paulovich, "Fred", 85, Windber, died June 21,2024 at Windber Woods. Born July 26, 1938, in New York, NY. Son of Louis A. and Elizabeth (Roman) Paulovich. Preceded in death by parents and brother Louis J.. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his caregivers; Gloria Cominsky and Melissa Andrews as well as great friend and cousin Joe Cominsky. Member of St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. He was the chief engineer for several buildings in Manhattan as a Member of the International Union of operating engineers NYC Local 94. He had worked for Mendik Realty. John purchased a farm and loved taking care of it. He was a US Navy Veteran. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10 am at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 604 Graham Ave., Windber, Fr. Larry Lacovic. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills is serving the family.
