John W. Becker

John W. Becker, 82, Johnstown, died November 7, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 10, 1938 in Johnstown, son of Carl and Evelyn (Heidorn) Becker. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Margaret (Filorimo); brother, George; and sisters, Barbara Dolinsky, and Susan Osborne Survived by brother, William Young (Kathy); and sisters, Laura Young; and Carol (Eugene Trio); brother in-law Alfred Osborne; and numerous nieces and nephews. John worked for Jandy Coal Company in Berwind's Mine #40 as a Section Forman, Safety Director and Surveyor Helper. John enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, and cornhole and was an avid Pirates fan. By request there will be no viewing. Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11AM at Richland Mausoleum. Masks are required. John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
