Jill Lynn (Pile) Havas

Jill Lynn Havas, 71, Johnstown, passed peacefully at home on December 5, 2024. Born May 7, 1953 in Johnstown, daughter of Fred and Martha (McDonald) Pile. Preceded in death by parents; niece, Lisa Sanford; in-laws, John and Mary Havas, and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Havas. Survived by loving husband of 46 years, Greg; daughter, Marlee; brother, Kevin (Marge) Pile, Harmony, PA; sister, Lori (Rick) Sanford, Savannah, GA; brother-in-law, Jim (Frankie) Havas; brother-in-law, Don Havas; sister-in-law, Janet (Joe) Oranchak; brother-in-law, Dave (Cindy) Havas; and many nieces and nephews. Jill was a registered nurse at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital for 42 years, and was a 1971 graduate of Westmont High School. Her family and friends meant everything to her. She enjoyed traveling, cruises, and reading. She cherished her annual Rehobeth Beach Trip for over 30 years with dear friend, Marsha. She had many fond memories of her book club, "The Fabs". Her dogs were her constant companions, especially, most recently, "Emma and Fritz". Jill wanted to thank everyone for their love and support during her illness, especially, Mary Ann, Gloria, Sherry, and Billie at 365 Hospice. Friends received 3-7PM Wednesday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday at Westmont Presbyterian Church. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
