Jeffrey W. Confer

Jeffrey W. Confer, 70, of Johnstown passed into God’s grace Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Windber Hospice surrounded by his beloved family. Born November 6, 1949, to the late William and Joyce (Hoy) Confer, Jeff was a 1967 graduate of Ferndale High School and attended Penn State University. Jeff’s passion for filmmaking and photography fueled a career that took him around the country and around the world, allowing him to express his creativity for clients from all walks of life. Jeff was also a devout Christian and spent a portion of each day studying the scriptures and helping lead others to Christ. In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his wife, Vickie (Blattenberger), and four children: Aden Fredericks, wife Krista (McBride) and grandson Jarrett, David, Matthew and Hannah along with brothers Stephen, Gregory and Michael, their families and friends too numerous to count. A memorial service celebrating Jeff’s life is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1-4pm with a service starting at 1:30pm at the Westmont Community Church.
