Jeanette J. (Jones) Ware

Jeanette Jane "Jones" Ware passed away on May 1, 2025, surrounded by her children and close family at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA at 6:15PM. She was born on April 3, 1967, to Edward Toney and Adrian "Jones" Harris. Preceded in death by Husband Shawn Ware; Father Edward Toney; Brother Jerome Toney; Grandparents Helen Jones, Corrie Toney Wilson, and Fess Toney.
Survived by Son Sheldon Ware, Daughters Shawnisha Ware and Sierra Ware. Also surviving are Grandchildren: Nyla Lawrence, Aierra and Ayla Brown, Sa'Raya Ware; godchildren Robert Triplin Jr. and ZaMyiah Jones.
Surviving siblings: Juanita Jones Howard, Andrea Jones, Rhonda Jones, and Reginald Harris Jr.
Uncles and Aunts: Hope Jones, Gerald (Lazette), Emanuel (Linda), Joann, Creola, Ruby, Caroline (Godmother).
Loved by nieces and nephews: Shaquayla, Shaquan, Tyria, Zaire, Laniya, Raina, Willow, Kamara, Brooklyn, Jayden, Jervontae, Sa'Leia, Ni'Ayla, Ariana, and Saybreanna.
Special cousins: Earl (Denise), Miesha, Marsha, Mike, & Craig. Numerous cousins.
Friends for life: Glenness, Veronica, Brenda, Mary, and Shelly.
Jeanette was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and Duff's Business College. She was the owner of her successful businesses, 2 Care For LLC and 1 Person At A Time LLC, for over 20 years, a real estate investor, and philanthropist.
Jeanette was the glue of the family. She always checked in, and her kindness and generosity touched everyone she encountered. Planning and organizing family reunions and parties was her specialty—she loved having all of her loved ones together. Family functions will never be the same without her.
Jeanette had a heart full of love and a spirit full of light. She gave endlessly, laughed loudly, and embraced everyone with open arms. Her presence was a gift, and her absence leaves a space no one else can fill. She will be beyond missed by family and friends. It's never good-bye, it's until we meet again. Friends received 4-7PM Thursday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held 11AM Friday.
