Janet L. (Rowland) Pudliner

Janet L. Pudliner, 92, Johnstown, died June 17, 2023 at the Allegheny Lutheran Home. Born May 29, 1931 in Johnstown. Daughter of William and Luella (Huber) Rowland. Preceded in death by parents; husband Ernest; siblings Romayne Bennett, Alice B. Black and John W. Rowland. Survived by children; Ernest A. II (Maria Christakes), Liese Reeder, and Dr. Betsy Pudliner; grandchildren Matthew Pudliner, Sean Reeder (Emmah) and Heather Izewski; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law Paula Rowland and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was an avid quilter and belonged to the Log Cabin Quilters Guild. Graduate of Johnstown High School and Slippery Rock University. She retired from Westmont School district. Friends will be received Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Grandview Mausoleum Building 2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy foundation or the First Presbyterian Church.
