Jane L Rager (Napotnik)
Jane was 86 when she passed away March 3rd, 2026. She was born in June of 1939 and was the 5th child of Rudolph and Anna (Brazil) Napotnik. Jane was married to Richard (Dick) Rager, who passed away far too early at the age of 57, they were childhood sweethearts. They raised three children, Michael and twin girls Lynne (Faint) and Lori (Weaver). Jane left behind 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way.
Now Jane was an excellent seamstress, would make everything! During the winter she would crochet blankets, spring she would be weeding and planting marigolds and snapdragons. During the summer she would be laying in the sun drenched in Coppertone by the pool. During the fall she would be canning red beets and wrapping Golden Delicious apples. She loved her Lincoln Continental, there were several. She loved babysitting her grandkids and great grandchildren and shared stories of the good ole days. She always gave them back with their belly's full of rigatoni, corn, and lots of goodies. She had several sweet tooths and was known for her apple cobbler, lemon meringue pies, fan-tan rolls, and cherry squares.
She loved God and would pray with her rosary every day for so many. She loved her home and the woods surrounding it. She believed she lived in a "Little bit of Heaven" every day on her deck. She took comfort in watching the leaves change colors, hearing the whippoorwills, owls, watching lightening bugs, along with deer, turkeys, and bears. Her cardinals and hummingbirds were her favorite birds and they were fed daily. Her home held many pool parties, Christmas Eve parties and many picnics, everyone's friends were always welcome, thus becoming a part of so many memories of others.
WE CAN ONLY IMAGINE the greetings she had from her parents, four sisters, husband Dick, special partner Glen, grandson Frank, sister-in-law's Pat and Carol, many brother-in-law's, special niece, Sandra and of course all her furry pets. Her last word before the Gates of Heaven opened, she uttered the word HOME, before she took her last breath. Her life was simple, but meaningful. She valued everything and trusted everyone. She loved God foremost and felt always blest for what she had. She will live on in all those hearts that loved her. Until we see you again …
At Jane's request, no services will be held. John Henderson Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
