It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and brother, James P. Kinley, 69, Johnstown. The sun set on his earthly life on May 25, 2023 at UPMC, Presbyterian Hospital. Born February 8, 1954 in Johnstown. He was the son of Joseph Paul and Maxine Elizabeth (Thomas) Kinley. Preceded in death by parents and sister Barbara Ann Kinley. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Monica (Faust); siblings Christine (Samuel Wisor), Joseph F. Kinley; nieces and nephews God daughters Danielle Holby and Nicole Kinley, Sara Faust, David Faust, god sons Christopher Meyers and Timothy Meyers, Connor Hudson, Olivia Hudson; five great nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Margaret Faust; brothers-in-law Richard Faust (Jane), Daniel Faust; sisters-in-law Linda (Wes Meyers), and Sharon Hudson. He attended Visitation Parochial School in elementary school, then Bishop McCort and finally Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech. Jim was a Eucharist minister and alter server at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He met the love of his life on at blind date in 1978. They married on September 8, 1979 and had 45 happy and beautiful years together. He worked for Galliker's Dairy for 50 years. He started as a delivery driver and ended his career as a Key Account Manager. He loved vacationing at Myrtle beach and taking trips to Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. Jimmy was a quiet, gentle, generous man who loved taking care of his family. Friends will be received Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Very Rev. Matthew Baum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cambria County Back Pack Project, 2025 Bedford Street, Johnstown PA 15904. Interment Richland Cemetery.
