APPLE- James Howard "Jim", 74, Richland Twp. Passed away on May 31, 2026 at home. Born December 3, 1951 in Johnstown. Son of Howard and Anne (Opett) Apple. Preceded in death by his parents, son Joseph, father-in-law George Todorich, brother-in-law David G. Todorich, and nephew David S. Todorich. Survived by wife of 52 years, Donna (Todorich); children, Jennifer Blough (Daniel) of Windber and James Apple (Erin) of Chesapeake, VA; grandson, Denver Lee; step grandchildren, Brittani Smith (Billy), Rebecca Blough, and David Blough; step great grandchildren, Jackson Smith and Chloe Smith; sister, Jean Lovrich (Nick) of Tipton; mother-in-law, Martha Todorich; sister-in-law Denise Flynn (Brian); brothers-in-law, Daniel Todorich and Douglas Todorich (Tracy); and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, VFW Post. 155, and Windber Sportsman's Club. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, especially fishing. He would take several yearly trips to Nags Head to fish. Also, he enjoyed gardening. Formerly a member of the Army National Guard. He was employed as a pipefitter for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and retired from Johnstown Wire Technologies. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church.
