Jacob Salem Obituary

Jacob H. Salem, Jr., 80, Nanty Glo, died November 28, 2021 at home. Born April 19, 1941 in Johnstown, son of Jacob H., Sr. and Helen (Vojtko) Salem. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, Sharon (Price); children, Jeffrey (Heidi Polding); and Tawni Salem; grand children, Amber and Jake Salem; and brothers, Robert and James. Jake enjoyed restoring old cars, and attending car shows. He was a retired aircraft mechanic from US Airways. He served in the US Navy. Friends received from 9 until the hour of service at 11AM Thursday at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh, with Pastor Jim Gay officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
