Hermina A. Singer “Minnie”, 93, Johnstown, passed away peacefully February 2, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. Born August 26, 1926 in Cambria City daughter of Demetrio and Dominga Salas. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ronald C.; brothers, Vincent, Enos, and Edward; sisters, Alice Rousseau and Lucy Salas; and infant granddaughters, Jenny and Laura Marsh. Survived by children, Cindy Cruse; Douglas (Marlene); Claudia (Brian Marsh); Melinda (Tim Wisyanski); Deborah (Scott Boring); and Lorie (Bob Harrison); grandchildren, Jodi (Tom Roman); Jaime (Brett Vinglas); Ian Singer (Jessica); Kayla (Cory Boslet); Dana (Josh Miller); Evan Marsh; B.J. Marsh; Trey Marsh; Annette (Mike LaPresti); Allison Wisyanski; Zack Boring; Stephen Harrison; and Kelcy Harrison; and great grandchildren, Logan, Laikyn, Leyna, and Liam Roman; Brevyn, Berklin, and Brayler Vinglas; Nicholas, Michael, Jacob, and Lucas Singer; and Emma LaPresti; and numerous nieces and nephews. Minnie was a graduate of Johnstown High School, Class of 1945, and a retired House Mother from Conemaugh Hospital. By request, there will be no public viewing. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnstown Walk of Hope.
