Tomb, Helen Elizabeth (Campbell) of Johnstown, Pa. died December 4, 2024. Born February 6, 1930, in Armstrong Twp., Indiana County, Pa., daughter of the late J. Walter and Nellie (Mansfield) Campbell. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard B. Tomb in 2005. Also preceded in death by brothers, James, William, and Leroy Campbell, sister, Louise, and stepson James Garrity. Survived by two sons, David, married to Bobbie (Fiffick) of Latrobe, Pa. and Douglas of Johnstown, by stepson, Donald Tomb, married to Suzanne (Watkins) Tomb of Arlington, Va. and stepdaughter, Diana (Tomb) Garrity of Murrells Inlet SC. Also survived by three grandsons, Jason, James, and Shane, and two granddaughters, Laura (Tomb) Tan, and Jennifer (Tomb) Hornback. She was also blessed with Great-grandchildren Ryan, Taylor, Ellie, Henry, Moira, and Rowan, and two great, great grandchildren Sadie and Jameson. Helen worked for nineteen years for Acme markets, nine of those years as secretary to the division manager in Johnstown PA. She was also a sales representative with Home Interiors, and Gifts for twenty-five years and was church secretary of Ferndale United Methodist Church, where she also was an active member, and chairman of the SonShiners group. Helen also volunteered as a member of the Riverside Firehall Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at noon at John Henderson Company Funeral Home. Interment in Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ferndale Community Church, Vickroy Avenue, Johnstown Pa.
