Helen (Slavich) Slavich

Helen Slavich, Johnstown, died July 5, 2024 at McCullough Place. Born December 4, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of Peter and Christina (Watach) Slavich. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary, Catherine, and Anne Molnar; and brothers, Frank, John, Charles, Paul, Michael, Steve, Nick and Peter. Survived by several nephews and nieces. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church. She retired from Conemaugh Valley School District. By request, there will be no viewing. Funeral service will be held 9:30AM Tuesday at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh, with The Very Rev. Archpriest George Johnson. Interment, St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery.
