Hattie E. Dunkle, 93, Johnstown, died December 29, 2023 at Windber Hospice. Born November 2, 1930 in Johnstown. Daughter of Frank G. and Margaret (Laufig) Forgacs. Preceded in death by parents, husband Richard C.; daughter Christine Dunkle; siblings Margaret Carothers, Helen Evans, Leona Novitsky, Eugene "Mac", Frank, Mary Jane Hobba. Hattie was the last survivng member of her immediate family. She is survived by children Nancy Koontz and significant other Paul Woznak, Richard F., Wayne (Wendy Wissinger); grandchildren Melissa (Dave Clifford), Eric (Jen Boes), Michael (Kathryn Lyons), Sarah (Nate Balaban), Ethan (Jaclyn Lovejoy), Joseph (Josephine Provancial); great grandchildren Sersia, Cora, Landon. Logan, Dean. Reid, Jayne, Mila. She was a member of Visitation of the BVM. Friends will be received Friday January 5th from 10:00am until time of funeral mass at 11:00am at Visitation of the BVM, Fr, John Slovikovski. Entombment Richland Mausoleum.
