Gowitha Lou Jean Hanzek, 87, Johnstown, died July 12, 2025 at home. Born January 28, 1938 in Johnstown, daughter of Robert and Bertha (Norton) Varner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank E.; son, Frank R.; and brothers, Paul and Charles. Survived by sons, Walter, Ronald, David, and Edward (Crystal); brother, Robert; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. By request, there will be no viewing. Funeral service will be private. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
