Gloria A. Hirschberger

Gloria A. Hirschberger, passed away April 28, 2019. Born in Johnstown April 7, 1931. Daughter of George M. and Luella (McGough) Hirschberger. Preceded in death by parents and sister; Emma Jane Hirschberger. Survived by cousins and her special cousin Dorene Cooper. A graduate of Johnstown High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. A certificate of proficiency in physical therapy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University school of Law. She practiced law in Cambria and Westmoreland counties. She enjoyed reading, gardening, listening to music and television. She was a Secular Carmelite and prayed the liturgy of the hours daily. Grateful appreciation is extended to Father James Crookston for his spiritual guidance and a heart felt thank you is extended to Dr. Maharajh and the Laurel View nursing staff and their family for their compassion and excellent care. At Gloria's request there will be no viewing. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1:30 pm at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Fr. Clarence Bridges. Interment Grandview Cemetery. Mass offerings are appreciated. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
