Gloria M. (Bassi) Frick

Gloria M. Frick, 99, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 26, 1927, in Johnstown. Daughter of Gilbert J. Sr. and Edith (Wonders) Bassi. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceded in death by parents, husband Donald F., sons Donald K., James M. and Thomas G.; son-in-law, Richard Farmer: sisters Mary McConnell, Katherine Skoda, Alma Williams, Betty Bray, brother Gilbert Jr., also loving niece, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and dear friends. Survived by loving children Catherine (Joseph Restivo), Jean Klochak , Linda Frick, widow of Thomas; grandchildren Jason Frick, Allyson (Ronan O'Sullivan) and her mother Jackie (Martin Chadwick), Donald (Carrie) Restivo, her special Christi Restivo, Nicole (Donte Tissinger), Adam (Jessica) Frick, Dawn (Greg Hubof), Joshua Klochak, Anne Marie Farmer; great grandchildren Michael (Laiken), Andrew (Kiersten), Dakarai (Cheyenne), Aaliyah (Tyrell), Donte, Evan, Julian, Jonathan, Nathan, Gregory, Ashley, Lauren, Natalie, Morgan; great great grandchildren Cayden, Isabella, Amare, Dakarai, Tyheir, Monte, Piper and Kai, also, loving nieces, nephews and their families. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. We lost our precious Mom, Nan, who taught our family what kindness and grace looked like. She had unwavering faith no matter the circumstances. She taught us to never question the why, just to believe. Her hugs healed our souls. I have glorified you on Earth. I have finished the work which you have given me to do. John 17:4. Friends will be received Friday from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm, at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Fr. David Peles. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
