CHVERCHKO- Gerald "Jerry," 69, Richland. Jerry was a loving husband, father and friend, who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 29th. He is preceded in death by his angel Krista; parents, Andrew and Dorothy (Durbin) Chverchko; brothers, Andrew and Victor; sisters Bev Shields and Joyce Knotts; and brothers-in-law Paul Lenyo and Pete Hoover. Survived by loving wife Pat; devoted son Jerry (Toni); grandson Darien; sisters, Laverne Hoover, Carol Spacht (Alvin), and Mimi Fields (Tim); in-laws, Joyce Chverchko, Marie Chverchko, Dottie Gillespie (Jack), Elaine Lenyo, Jim Lenyo (Debbie), and Jeanne Gindlesberger (Denny). Jerry was very fond of all his nieces and nephews. His witty manner made spending time with them lively and entertaining. Also, survived by special friend, Carol LeGars. He will be sorely missed by Kilo, his canine companion. Jerry was the sole proprietor of Dream Machines and worked very hard to make it a success. He enjoyed his sports, especially his Penn State football team, going to the races, casinos, shopping and relaxing on the beach. Jerry's passing ends a beautiful marriage union just short of 50 years. He is loved and will be missed by all. Friends will be received from 2-8 Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. A funeral mass will be 10:00 Friday at St. Benedict Church. Father David Peles, officiating.
