Carter, Gerald Lynn, 92, Johnstown, died June 16, 2019 at home. Born February 1, 1927 in Johnstown. Son of Walter and Mary (Naugle) Carter. Preceded in death by parents and son Thomas. Survived by wife the former Dorothy Licht; son, Paul; grandchildren, Patrick married to Quinn and Rachel married to Ryan; great grandchildren  Britton and Charli. Graduated from Johnstown High School in 1945. Merchant Marine Vet of WWII and US Navy in the Korean Conflict. Retired from Johnstown Police Department with 29 years of service. Member of F.O.P, Oakland Fire Company and V.F.W. Member of Zion Lutheran Church. Friends received from 4-7 Friday at John Henderson Co.
