Gavin Nicholas Price

PRICE- Gavin Nicholas "Gav", 18, Johnstown. Passed away on June 25, 2023. Born May 2, 2005 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Elaine "Nana" Watkins and cousin Nicholas Watkins. Survived by mother, Christine Watkins-Price of Westmont; father Kevin Price of Johnstown; sisters, Madalena Price and Savannah Price both of Johnstown; maternal grandfather, David Watkins of New Bethlehem; paternal grandparents, Robert Jr. "Gary" and Sandy Price of Johnstown; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his loving and faithful dog, Sasha and faithful cats, Deku and Stella. Member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Gav was going to be a senior at Bishop McCort High School, Class of 2024, where he was very involved in numerous activities. His activities included, the MiniThon, stagehand for the plays, and Breakfast with Santa. Also, he volunteered at several non-profit organizations, including the soup kitchens. Friends will be received from 3-7 Thursday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A celebration of Gav's life will be held 10:00, Friday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Though our son is no longer here, his spirit will remain with us always. The time we had with our son was a blessing and may it bring us peace and comfort in his absence. The death of a son is a sorrow that can never be replaced, but the memories of him will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
