Gary M. Weimer

Gary M. Weimer, 73, Johnstown, died August 13, 2026 at Cleveland Clinic. Born March 25, 1953 in Johnstown, son of James and Lois (Buser) Weimer. Preceded in death by parents; brother, David; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Lehman. Survived by loving wife of 43 years, Barbara (Lehman). He filled her life with love, warmth, and unforgettable moments. She'll carry his heart in hers always. Also survived by siblings, Mary Ann Arnone, and James Weimer (Tonya); and several nieces and nephews. Gary worked at the former Gee Bee store and warehouse. He retired from North American Hoganas. While working, Gary made a lot of friends. Gary had a love for sports. He was a member of USGA. He enjoyed watching golf tournaments, NHL games, MLB games, and the NFL, especially the Penguins, Pirates and Steelers. He had a passion for golf that included two hole-in-one experiences at his favorite course, Oakbrook. Gary served as manager of the Moxham GBU for over 45 years, where he made numerous friends. Friends received 4-7PM Tuesday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral mass will be held 1:30PM Wednesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, with Father James Crookston. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals.
