Gary L. Saintz, Sr.

SAINTZ- Gary L. Sr., 83, Johnstown. Passed away March 9, 2026 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 30, 1942 in Johnstown. Son of Edward P. Jr. and Dolores (Howie) Saintz. Preceded in death by parents, son Gary Jr., grandson Shawn, sister Nannette Wheeler, former wife and good friend Linda (Rubis), sister-in-law Lorraine Saintz, brother-in-law Rev. Ed Houghton, and many beloved pets. Survived by wife Brenda (Wirick); daughter, Kimberly Saintz (Michael Magnal); grandson, George Jones; great grandchildren, Griffin and Georgie Jones; siblings, Devon, Rev. Sally Houghton, Rebecca Hobor (John) and Cindy Cummings and her fiancé John Campos; and nieces and nephews. Member of Benscreek Lutheran - ELCA and Greater Johnstown Touring Club, where he rode his motorcycle all over the country. Gary enjoyed watching sports, including the Pittsburgh teams and NASCAR. Gary graduated from Ferndale Area High School in 1960 prior to working for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and GardaWorld Security. At Gary's request, services will be private.
