Frances A. Rodgers went peacefully to be with the Lord on November 14, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Gladys Easterbrook, husband Ronald, her son David, and brother Charles Easterbrook. Survived by her beloved daughter Christine (Russell) Reighard, son Ronald (Theresa) Rodgers, grandson David Rodgers, granddaughter Andrea (Brett) Nelson, great-grandchildren Connor and Alyssa Nelson, and her faithful little dog Katie. She was a friend to everyone who was fortunate enough to have met her. Fran was a very talented oil painter, and she enjoyed dancing, gardening, backyard bird watching and her bible study group. Fran devoted her life to her family, who fondly remember the camping trips and her amazing cooking and baking skills. She was known as Granny Fran by the neighborhood children with whom she loved sharing time and cookies. Fran was blessed to have her loving family, good friends and many kind neighbors. A special thank you is extended to Sheri and Vicki, daughters of her late friend of 80 years, Norma, to her friend Edie and also to the extraordinary and compassionate nursing and medical staff at Conemaugh Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local humane society or your favorite charity.
