Eula L. Morris

Eula L. Morris, 90, Johnstown, died January 24, 2025, at home. Born August 23, 1934, in North Carolina. Daughter of Needom I. and Ethel M. (Wess) Jones. Preceded in death by husband Samuel Morris Sr., parents, son Samuel L. Morris Jr., daughter Marsha L. Tisinger, granddaughter Tascha Morris and brother Rev. Donald Wess. Survived by children Rev. Ronnie Morris Sr. (LaVonne), Donnie Morris (Toni), Christopher Vuckovich, Monica Hall, Barbara Witherspoon (Billy); devoted daughter in love Marlene F. Morris; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; twenty-two great great grandchildren; brother Leonard Williams (Nancy); devoted cousin Loretta Hall (Russ); aunts Georgia Jackson, Alberta Sullivan; sister-in-law Emma Jean Robinson; devoted friends Miss Betty Jones, Andrea Burke, Valerie Cummins. She was a member of Christ Center Community Church. Eula loved the Lord and dedicated her life to him and the Word. She loved to crochet, the Gaither's and country music. She had a special love for children and taking care of her friends and family. She was a lifelong member of the Johnstown Usher Union. The family would like to thank Dr. Spencer and Laurel Highlands Hospice. Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at noon, at Christ Center Community Church, 531 Somerset Street, Rev. Sylvia King, Associate Rev. Antionette Allen and Elder Brandon King. Interment Benshoff Hill. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
