Ernestine Marie (Cordes) Schmidt

Ernestine Marie Schmidt, 70, Johnstown, died September 17, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 21, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA. Preceded in death by husband Paul; parents Anthony and Leona (Calabrase) Odee; siblings Rose Marie Kot, Jeanette Cordes, Joseph Odee, Robert Odee and Raymond Cordes. Survived by siblings Barbara Cordes and Louis Odee and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary as well as the Harmonie Singing Society. She loved to sew. A memorial mass will be held Friday at 10 am at Visitation of the BVM. Inurnment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
