PARKINSON- Elsie A., 79, Johnstown. Passed away March 31, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 23, 1939 in Windber. Daughter of Louis A. and Anna (Patrick) Kerekes. Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert, sisters Irene Lewandowski, Anna Slagle, brothers Louis, and Nicholas. Survived by children Kevin, Patrick Sr. married to Rose (Jones), Kimberly married to Gary Kinsey, and Kristan married to Matthew Smiach; grandchildren Brandi Penatzer, Bryan Parkinson, Kayla McLellan, Patrick Parkinson Jr., Blasé Parkinson, Taylor Kinsey, Hunter Kinsey, Libby Kinsey, Lilly Kinsey, Kolbie Smiach, Grady Smiach , and Sophie Smiach; 4 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Prieto; and brother Ernest married to Theresa. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Former employee of St. Andrew’s School Cafeteria. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Father David Pelles.
