Elsa M. (Siehl) Wingard

Elsa M. Wingard, 81, Johnstown, died July 17, 2026, at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 29, 1945, in Johnstown. Daughter of George H. and Phoebe (Robine) Siehl. Preceded in death by parents and husband Donald D. Wingard Sr. Survived by sons Donald D. Jr. and fiancé Robin Summerhill, Kenneth G. Wingard (Betty Jo Unger) and David L. Wingard; grandchildren Meghan (Seth Stallard), Kaitlin Wingard, Kenneth Wingard Jr. and David Wingard; great granddaughter Paysleigh Wingard; brother George H. Siehl; and her loving canine companions Yogi and Kiya. She was a member of Oakland Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed camping at Glendale Year-Round and Friendship Village. She participated in activities with her grandchildren including camping, riding quads and game night. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. and also from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am Thursday at Oakland Church, Pastor Jeremy Barkley. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society.
